About Carla V.
As a writer and consultant based in Panama, I help people put their ideas and life experiences into words.
My path here might seem a little winding. I’ve worked across marketing, international business development, and tourism strategy and planning, but one thing has always remained constant: my love for storytelling and beautifully crafted books.
I split my time between writing my own stories (most recently an artistic children’s book in collaboration with a Panamanian artist, and now an autobiographical-novel in-progress) and helping others with theirs. That can mean co-writing a story, coaching someone through their first draft, or shaping a keynote so that a particular message comes through clear and strong.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple idea: stories are how we leave our mark in this world. Sharing my work, as well as helping others refine theirs, feels like the most meaningful work I could possibly do.
Every project reminds me that stories are living things... they change us, inspire and move us. And that, to me, is the true beauty of this complicated craft.
